SUMMER FILM CAMP IS BACK!
This year, we’re online, and we’re working with
the Luther Burbank Center and Transcendence Theatre Company to
bring you a whole summer of Arts Education Camps!
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
- From June 22nd-26th, students (5th grade and up) take the AVFS Filmmaking Bootcamp. Students will be prepped to capture footage of themselves and their families during the rest of the summer camps. (THIS CAMP IS FREE)
- From June 29th-July 17th, students (5th grade and up) head to the LBC Summer Arts Camp for Hip-Hop dance, ukulele, & singing for three weeks. Remember: students are documenting their experiences for later! (THESE CAMPS ARE FREE)
- From July 20th-31st, students (ages 7-18) attend the Transcendence Theatre Company camps for theater, improv, dance, and movement. Remember: students are documenting their experiences for later! (THESE CAMPS ARE FEE-BASED, AND SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE)
- From August 3rd-7th, students (5th grade and up) return to the AVFS Editing Bootcamp to put together their final footage from the summer. (THIS CAMP IS FREE)
You can mix and match camps or take them all!
We will have a showcase of student films at a later date.
